Superboys

M has a thing for manga and graphic novels.

I was not always a fan at first, but I've come around.

It's not just superheroes anymore!

I even saw a set of Jane Austen classics at the library!

So, anyway, on Sunday, when we saw a girl making comic likenesses at the farmers' market, we couldn't resist.

She thought L was a girl and neither one actually looks anything like them, but the boys didn't even seem to notice!

  1. Hahahah omg that picture of Lennon totally looks like a girl! Good thing they didn't notice.

I was never into comics besides Archie when I was younger (they never seemed economical), but I found this one online by a girl that I'm obsessed with. (Here's the link if you're interested... I think it's a little too old for Lennon, but it might be ok for Miles. Not sure, though, I wasn't reading it with "kid glasses" http://gingerhaze.com/nimona)

    1. I feel like I didn't even know the world of comics existed (except Archie). I missed out!

  2. Even if they look nothing like the boys, they're still so fricking adorable...I want one of mine!
I used to be obsessed with Archie comics and Calvin and Hobbes later.

  3. What cool drawings!!

Have you seen The Bad Book? It was one of my boys' favorites. I think there is something inappropriate in it that kind of went over their heads. It is probably actually not a good recommendation at all.
